Hi There fellow crafters!

This week at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges we have two super prizes up for grabs!

will be giving one lucky winner a $10 voucher to their store, and

a brand new sponsor to our challenge, is offering one lucky winner 2 digi images of their choice.  If you'd like to visit their Facebook page, you can do so here.

To visit either of the stores, just click on their store logos above.

I was lucky enough to use the beautiful Charlie on the Swing, from Little Blue Button, this week.  I have coloured her with markers, and drawn in a tree for her swing to hang from.  I absolutely love this character!  This is the 2nd time I've been lucky enough to showcase Little Blue Button Stamps.  You can see another card using Solo Charlie here.

My paper and sentiments are from the Heartfelt Creations Birds and Blooms collection, and my flowers are 49 and Market.

Now it's over to you!  I can't wait to see what you create this week!

MAY YOUR WISHES COME TRUE

This little beauty is called May Your Wishes Come True, and she is part of the Winnie Celebrations 1 collection from Polkadoodles.  I just love the attitude she exudes and how determined she looks!  I have coloured her with markers.

She was the first image from the collection that I printed and coloured, without really thinking about what I was going to do with her.  As a result, when I finally got down to creating a card for her, I realised I'd restricted myself by the size I'd made her, and the fact that I'd coloured a background for her.  So, she is dominating her own Secret Garden!

I created the garden gate by cutting the image out on my Cricut and the placing it between 2 sheets of acetate.  I've added a few pearls for flower centres.  Here's a pic of the garden gate with a plain sheet of paper behind it, so you can see the details a little better:

I have used glittery washi tape around the edges of the card.

OCEAN DREAMS

I needed a very general card for a gentleman yesterday, and put this together using a brand new paper pack from Stamperia, called Sea Land.  It's such a stunning pack, that I immediately got online to order a new one, to replace the pieces I'd used for this card, before stock runs out.  It's an addiction I think... I seriously love paper, and feel loss when I use something that I won't then be able to use again.  I'm hoping there's SOMEONE out there who understands and relates.

Anyway... all I had to add was a few thin strips of leather to the tags and a few little pearls in the corner.

PASSION FOR PROMARKERS CHALLENGE #432: HAVE A HEART

Good Morning ProMarker lovers!

We have a brand new, exciting challenge starting at Passion or Promarkers today, with Natalie choosing your theme:

HAVE A HEART

This is great time to think about all those you love, OUTSIDE of Valentine's Day!  We'd like to see at least one heart on your project.  It could be an embellishment, part of the paper, or the centre focus of your project.  It's up to you!

We have a fantastic prize up for grabs this week:

is offering our winner a $12 voucher for their store.  These are such elegant stamps, with a great range available to choose from.

I'm showcasing Baby's Smile today.  I have coloured the image with ProMarkers.  Around the image is a branch ring from 49 & Market.  The little twig hearts were in my stash, so I'm not sure who they're by, unfortunately.  My papers are from the KaiserCraft Romantique pack.  I have cut two of the layers out with a Spellbinders die (and then pretty much covered them up with everything else!)  The flowers are an mix of 49 and Market and KaiserCraft, and the crocheted doily is KaiserCraft.  The sentiment is from the Romantque pack too, but I've spliced it to fit my card.

In there you'll also find a strip of burlap and a few pearls.

To see the other gorgeous stamps available from A Day For Daisies, you can click on their logo above.

Good luck!

CYCLING WINNIE

I have recently been colouring up some of the digis in my collection that I've never used before.  I absolutely love this one.  She's so quirky with her untidy, windswept hair and little smile.  She's called Cycling Girl, and she's part of the Polkadoodles Work & Play 4 collection.  I have coloured her with markers and also drawn in her background with markers.  Around her is a shape I cut on my Cameo.

The background paper is from the Polkadoodles Winnie Fruit Punch collection.  I've added a paper doily and a strip of Simplicity lace.  The flowers are Prima and 49 and Market, and the butterflies are Jenni B.

KITTY ACROBATICS

This sweet image is a Paper Shelter digi, called Kitty Acrobatics.  I have coloured it with markers, and drawn in the background with markers too.

My papers are from the Heartfelt Creations Enchanted Mum pack.  The sentiment was a freebie stamp with a magazine.  The flowers are 49 and Market, and the gems are Want 2 Scrap.  The clouds have been created using Prima Snowflake Paste.

NEW JOB

I often have situations when someone asks if I have a card they could take for a particular event, or I personally need one for a particular event, and I don't have one available.  Then I have to rush one out - something I hate doing!

I decided to start working on a few cards, covering a variety of situations, to have in my stash, ready for situations just like this.  This is the first.

I have used one of the brand new digis from the Polkadoodles Winnie Celebrations 2 collection, called New Job, and coloured her with markers.  The background paper and sentiment are from the same collection, and the dotty paper I've printed the sentiment on, is from the Winnie Celebrations 3 collection.

The sentiment was cut out using a Poppy Crafts stitched die.

To create the background, I first coloured the floor and a plain colour for the wall (which became the grouting sections).  I then used a Tim Holtz brick stencil and distress ink to create the bricks.  The be able to get the background right up to the stamp, I photocopied my coloured stamp and cut her out, creating a 'mask', which I then laid on top of my coloured stamp, protecting it from my background inks as I sponged them on - a technique my very talented sister shared with me - thanks Pat!!
